We just returned from the 21 day Southern Caribbean on the Maasdam.
It was simply wonderful and we thought the staff was outstanding. The ports were great and we thoroughly enjoyed the beaches. We'll be sailing her again.
Glad you enjoyed your cruise! I'm jealous as I love those longer cruises.
We really like Holland America and have always had wonderful cruises with them. We've been on the Maasdam 3 times and I have to admit that one of those times wasn't all that great as they had engine problems, a fire in one of the passenger laundry rooms, and were painting and fixing alot during our cruise. Had to miss Half Moon Cay, which is our all-time favorite private island, so that was disappointing. But the other two times were fine. Prefer the Rotterdam over the Maasdam. Did a 10-night So. Carib on the Noordam last year and liked that alot. Tough to beat their prices for what you get, that's for sure!
