Default Fort Lauderdale Post-Cruise Hotel?

I'm looking for a good post-cruise "decompression" hotel for a night in Fort Lauderdale before flying home. I'm probably going to go through Priceline, so instead of asking what's good, I'm really asking if any of the below properties are a definite "no" in terms of being of comparable quality and desirability to the others:

Marriott Marina
Sheraton Yankee Clipper
Doubletree Suites Galleria
Doubletree Oceanfront

Comparing the above to the Embassy Suites, are they basically comparable, with the latter 3 given an extra couple points for being on/near the beach rather than the port?

I appreciate any and all comments!

Amber

I've only stayed at the Embassy Suites (3* Fort Lauderdale zone $55 + $5 bonus), and I know that one is great. I also booked the Renaissance (4* Fort Lauderdale $81 +$5) through Priceline. Good Luck!

What do you mean, you will go through Priceline? The prices you refer to seem quite low. Do you have the web site?

Hi!
A great hotel is Pier 66! It is 'spitting distance' to the Port! !
We stayed there on a trip to Florida. No cruise, just vacation.
It is an amazing place! Our room looked down on the Intracoastal
Waterway & this guy had a 90 foot (at least) yacht anchored!!! It was so cool!
It is right on the marina-I believe. We walked to it, so, yes, it is.
It is a little pricey, but, just go to www.reservation-services.com &
you may get a good deal. I am kind of leary of priceline.com. I want to be in control of where I stay, etc.
Anyway, this is a really close place!
