Was going to try them. We have 3 adults in the party and priceline says 2 adults. Anyone know if I would still be able to book, and then just pay the thirt person upcharge? Thanks! Also, what did you save?
I have used Priceline a couple of times and each time it says 2 people. Once I got the hotel approval, I called them up and asked how many can fit into the room and they always say 4.
I say go for it and then immediatley call the hotel and ask how many and ask for double beds. I think you will be fine. There is always a chance that it won't work but how do they really know 3 people are sleeping in the room?
Try Hotwire. I've been getting some excellent rates there. Yesterday I booked a four star Hotel in bothell, Washington (near Seattle) for $48 per night. It ended up being the Wyndham Hotel. The rack rate there is $129. AARP and AAA rates are $109. I hope this helps.
