Priceline - San Francisco

Need Help:

What location should I bid to be near port and tourist attractions?

How many stars should I bid and what hotels have they been giving for those stars?

I have no problem using Priceline in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I know how much to bid ($35 for Miami and $40-45 for Fort Lauderdale - 3 Stars gets you really great hotels at a wonderful rate).

However, when it comes to San Francisco I need some help and advice from others who have booked...............need location, stars and bidding prices.
