Flying into Orlando - help with shuttle to pier and hotel???

We are going on the Glory and need suggestions: hotels that provide free shuttle to hotel. Or our there any hotels that provide shuttle to the pier. I guess any help on this would be appreciated. Or should we just go through Carnival with buying transfers to and from pier to the airplane?

There are so many hotels to choose from, if there is a Ramada, Sheraton, Embassy Suites or Amerisuites in the area they have courtesy shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. I would think that the hotels closer to Port Canaveral would have courtesy shuttle service to the pier as opposed to those closer to Orlando.

Deb -

When we went out of Port Canaveral we used a private car service as it was cheaper than the cruise transfers (we were on RCI). There were six of us. I would price it out both ways. The other advantage to the private car was that we didnt have to wait for a bus to fill up. I used Legacy Limo and was very happy with them.

Depends on where you want to stay. The pier is too far away for a Port hotel to offer you a free shuttle and too far for an airport location hotel to shuttle you to the pier for free. Try Ron Jon's or the Radisson in Port Canaveral. They both will get you to the pier on the morning of your cruise. You will however need to get there. Car services are pretty reasonable in the area and depending upon how many in your party you can save some money that way. Plus you do it on your schedule. Tiffany, Happy Limo, FL Tours, Artsshuttles are some to look at. You are looking at a 45-60 minute ride from MCO to the port.
