We stayed at the Radisson and it was very nice. The Double Tree looked really awesome.

I would suggest trying Priceline. Use Downtown Miami zone and start your bid at 4* and $50.

If that doesn't work add:
Dadeland: - "No Four Star" and add $5

If that doesn't work add
Miami Lakes - "No Four Star" and add $10

That would make a final bid of $65. If that isn't accepted I would wait 72 hours and try again.

Take care,
Mike

I've been bidding for downtown Miami 3 * for 2/12/05 have gone as high as 60 and still declined.... I've heard they are having a boat show on the 17th, maybe thats the reason for the the rejection. Do you think this is to early for Feburary?

dodi:
I have heard that hotel rooms are hard to come by during the boat show. I would go on to the Amerisuites, Embassy Suites and Marriott websites and see if there are rooms available and what the rate is. That would at least give you an idea on what you may need to bid. You may have to go higher than $60 at this time of year.

The final decision is yours.

Take care,
Mike

My family will be doing a pre-stay on Friday and 2 post-stay after the cruise. I went through priceline and picked the airport area and got 2 great prices. We're staying at the Wingate hotel for 1st bid $35.00, then bid on 2 more nights for $32.00 each and was accepted.
