Default FLL - Late night arrival

We are arriving on a very late flight into FLL the night before our cruise. Do the hotel airport shuttles still operate late at night? If so, any specific recommendations?

I think you woud have to check that out before you book a hotel? I know most of them offer shutlles but as to the time, I am not sure.

We arrived after 12:00pm in FLL. We stayed at the Best Western Oceanside precruise that had a shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel the staff were not helpful and there were little insects in my room. When I booked two rooms I was told the shuttle was free but when I went to schedule the shuttle to go to the cruise terminal I was told my package didn't include a free shuttle I was ticked off. I decided to book a private car just to not give anymore money to this crappy hotel. After our cruise we stayed at the Embassy Suites. I would definately recommend this hotel, very clean and comfortable beds. The free shuttle serves the airport and cruise terminal. Just call to check about the late arrival. I am sure they will accomadate you. I was worried that the shuttle may of been full for the time we wanted to go to the airport but the front desk assured me they would pay for a taxi for us if necessary. Enjoy your cruise.

I believe each hotel has different hours for their shuttle service. I've found it easier to just hail a cab at the airport...there are plenty of them there waiting for you.

As far as getting to the port or port to airport, take a taxi. Most hotels in FLL are minutes away, about 7.00...Forget the shuttles!

all depends upon which hotel you are staying at. I would definatley call them, first off to tell them that you will be a late arrival and to hold your room for you and to ask if their shuttles will be running. If not then just grab a cab. We have also stayed at the Embassy Suites and their shuttle service and the staff were so helpful.
