Try Priceline.com. But, first go to biddingfortravel.com to research the hotels.

Avoid Days Inn Civic Centre, filthy dirty, offer free shuttle service - one van for port, one for airport - most people give up and take cabs rather than waiting their turn with the other 40 people wanting a free ride to the pier or from the airport.

Check the Holiday Inn on Biscayne Bay, reasonable rate, accessible to everything, worth the extra couple of dollars.

Go to www.ladybugstore.com/travel.htm. They have a huge selection of hotels. We just got the Sofitel for $65.00 for Sept.

We just booked the Holiday Inn - Port of Miami on Biscayne Bay. I booked it through the Holiday Inn website, with our AAA discout I got 2 Queen Beds w/sleeper sofa for $112 a night. Seems pretty good to me. Hotel looks really nice on the website.
