Default Cab Fares

Can anyone tell me which is better taking the cab to the pier, or paying the transfers from the Ship. What would the the price for a group of be to take a cab from the airport to the pier.
RCCL is charging $18.00 per person and I don't know if it is better to take that, or just get myself a cab.
Also, is it better to take the transfers on the last day, if you have an early flight.??
Any comments would help

Where are you sailing from? All cities are different.

I think I've read that taxis are $28 for 2 people, $12 each additional in each cab. To be sure, check the official New Orleans airport website.

Hopefully, somebody else will post with their first hand knowledge/experiences.

I would recommend just taking a cab to the airport after the cruise if you have an early flight, it will save time. Otherwise you have to wait until all the luggage gets loaded and they fill the bus up, by that time you'd be at the airport already.

Hi Cruisers -

The ship transfers are very expensive and you wait around at the airport for everyone to arrive etc. Takes for ever. Try BCs Express he is much cheaper than the ship transfers and you will not stand around waiting. I've found BC to be the most reliable transp. in the Ft Laud / Miami area and is the only Trans I'll use. If you are looking for inexpensive and worryfree transfers BC is definatly the way to go! I'll be using BC once again in April when I sail on the Mediterrainia!

You can reach BC at [email protected] or call him at 954-873-8383. Good luck!

Try BC's Express ([email protected] - 954-873-8383) Much cheaper than the Ship per person transfers without the hanging around! BC is the only transfers I'll use when in the Ft. Laud / Miami area. If you are looking for worry free reliable transfers give BC a try. I'll be using them once again when I cruise on 4/3 on Costa!! Can't Wait!!!
