Default Port Canaveral Transportation

Hi all. We are sailing on Mariner in October and plan to rent a car on the front side of the cruise. But, we are trying to find out what's available for transportation from the port to the Orlando airport afterwards. Any ideas?

Chip, you can purchase a transfer through the cruiseline or you can hire a private limo service. We are sailing on Mariner in February and I plan to hire a couple of vans for our group.

We rented a car in Orlando and just parked it for the week at Port Canaveral. We rented the smallest size since it was only two of us. We got a great rate on the rental car. May have cost us a bit more in the long run but this way we were in charge of our transportation back to Orlando for our flight.

Depending on your departure flight, you could rent a car to take back to the airport. But we did the same thing you're doing, rented a car for our pre cruise stay. Then we just purchased a transfer on the ship. Worked out nice. The airport has a separate mall to shop around and restaurants if you're there early. There is also the Hyatt that I've heard people renting a room for the day. There is always Art's Shuttle too but I've never used them.
