Hello!
Looking for a nice Ft. Lauderdale hotel to stay at pre-cruise. We're going on the Liberty over Thanksgiving. Looking for a hotel with breakfast and an airport/cruiseport shuttle. Any recommendations???
Thanks!!
We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Airport North on SW 12th Ave. Very nice with cont breakfast and shuttle from airport and to the pier, Also there is a Best Western next door with a shuttle and a new Holiday Inn Express right across the street. There is also a strip shopping mall with a grocery store for any soda or bottled water needs you might have
Sunnygirl,
We arrive the day after Thanksgiving and got our hotel for our pre-cruise using our gov't rate but our post cruise day thru Priceline. We checked out different ones on TripAdvisor.com. In 2001 we stayed at the Comfort Inn on Stirling Road in Hollywood. and they offer a shuttle to and from the airport and port.

Does the Comfort Inn offer shuttle service to the Miami Port? My TA has booked us for January and says we have shuttle from the airport to hotel and then to the Miami Port the next day.
I just want to make sure that they do go to the Miami Port.
chasbos,
I suggest you call the hotel direct to verify if they do. I can't imagine being so far away but that would be a great service if they did. Good luck.

I think I will call the hotel directly - I thought it sounded too good to be true! We may have to look into a car service to get us to the Port in the morning or else find a hotel in Miami.
OF course this is all depending on our flight arrival time. I am waiting for SWA to open up past Jan 9. to get our flights into FLL.
We have enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn on Stirling Rd. , Hollywood, FL,
• Includes free transport from airport to hotel
• Includes free transport from hotel to cruise port
• This has K-Mart, Taco Bell, McDonald’s just a block or so away (we walk to it)- - and Dave&Buster’s a couple blocks away.
We've also stayed at the Comfort Inn Airport / Cruise Port South, located right next door (also on Stirling Rd.). This hotel is much older, but has the same free transportations, breakfast and great location. . . HOWEVER we would rather pay the extra for the the nicer Hampton Inn.

We stayed last Feb at the Amerisuites on 10th ave. walking distance to fast food and next door to a Mexican rest, and Applebees or Chiles one of those kind of rest. You would think I would remeber we ate there!! Well takeout we ate by the pool. Free air shuttle and port. Room was clean free hot breakfast. Clean pool area. Rooms very spacious. Family of 4.
We booked with them on line $79. That was great considering it was Feb vacation on the East coast. We even walked to the port area the next morning to kill time and look at the ships. Near pizza shops even a shopping market. Cleaner than the Bestwestern Marina and Yatch near the 17th causway.
I can highly recommend the Marriott Marina...it is a great property and can be obtained on Priceline considerably cheaper than calling the hotel directly. We have also stayed at the Amerisuites and it was very nice also.
