Default Los Angeles Hotel near Celebrity Port

Can someone recommend a hotel near the port that Celebrity sails out of in Los Angeles? Shuttle service from airport to their hotel would be great as well.

I'll probably be flying into LAX and would like to stay at least two days pre cruise near the port.

Thanks.

Default Long way from LAX to port

I live in LA and work near LAX. I think the distance from LAX to the cruise port in San Pedro is about 20-25 miles, thus I don't think the hotels near the port have shuttles from LAX. The free shuttle feature is usually within a few miles of the hotel. San Pedro is a very industrial port and I honestly don't know of any hotels near there.

You might want to consider staying near LAX, there are many big nice hotels (Sheraton, Westin, etc.) on Century Blvd. that do offer free shuttle to the hotel, you'd need a cab to get to the port. There is also a nice Embassy Suites not too far from the airport that also has a shuttle from the airport. The hotels are nice but Century Blvd is very busy and borders on a not nice part of town, you kind of have to eat at the hotel, not safe to walk and no place good to walk to. Embassy is in a nicer area, adjacent to small town-like El Segundo. They might have a shuttle to Rosecrans where there is a choice of restaurants (Houstons, Cozymels, Lido, Il Fornio, McCormick & Shmick, and Flemings. Or just eat at Embassy it's very pleasant, food is good, service can be slow, breakfast is included in their rates.

Sorry I don't have any recommendation for hotels near the shore or port.
