We've stayed at the Seattle Pioneer Square Best Western. It's great for a small historic hotel. You can watch the ferries dock if you have one of the balcony rooms. We even watched the 4th of July fireworks in 2003. You can walk or take the trolley along the waterfront. Our friends have stayed there also & had a good time also. The rooms are on the small side but comfortable. We love exploring Seattle & Vancouver before cruising.
