Comfort Inn Airport Cruiseport South Hollywood Florida?
 

Has anyone stayed here before. I've been reading mixed reviews. I'd like to hear from someone who has stayed here themselves. We are looking for a motel in Fort Lauderdale (or close) that offers parking and a shuttle back and forth to the port. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just clean and in a fairly safe neighborhood since we'll have to leave our car here for the time we're gone. Thanks for your help?

If this is the one on Federal Hwy. It's okay. It wasn't the Hilton, but we found it to be fine for the short stay.

I was there March 30 - April 2, 2007 since the Embassy was booked.

The breakfast was limited but they had begian waffles, cold cereal, danish, donuts, bagels, toast, coffee, milk, juice, tea. There was some hot ham & eggs, but I didn't eat any of those.

The shuttle was always available when needed & even took us to one of the casinos for a charge of course.

No, this one is on Stirling Rd. Has anyone stayed here?

The Comfort Inn on Stirling is in Hollywood, Fl. We had a nice stay there back in 2001 but it seems things have changed. Read the reviews at TripAdvisor.com. There is a Hampton Inn across the street that might be nicer. On our recent cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, our tablemates and 2 other couples we met stayed at the Sleep Inn near by and said it was nice. They offered shuttle service and a continental breakfast.

I have stay at the hampton inn suite on sterling road ,it is a nice place but very expensive. and a very small swimming pool. I will be staying next door at the comfort inn in nov. 2 days before I go crusing on the Massdam. Its a lot cheaper and looks nice . I will tell in Nov. if I made a mistake or not.
