Holiday Inn select Orlando airport! ??

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn select in Orlando airport. Looking for a nice place to stay for one nite before the cruise. There will be 9 of us and we want to go to dinner and have a nice breakfast the day after. I read some on the holiday Inn select and it says there are many restaurants very near the hotel. Just want to know if anyone can confirm that information. cruisingrandma!

You can check out reviews at TripAdvisor.com. I have stayed at Amerisuites 1/2 miles from teh airport. They had airport shuttle service and a complimentary breakfast.

If you're flying into Orlando to cruise out of Port Canaveral, you might want to head down there and find a nice hotel. I would recommend the Hampton Inn on A1A. They also have a continental breakfast. We had an 8th floor balcony room with a beautiful view of the ocean.

If you are going out of PC for your cruise, rent a car (about $60) for the night & drive rather than stay in Orlando. It's a straight drive on the Bee highway right to PC.

There's a bunch of great hotels to stay at that have shuttle service to the pier & they are close enough to see from the hotel. Also when you drop your car off, many of the car places off shuttle service to the pier as well.

Some recommended & most popular are: Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, Radisson.

Just FYI, there is a shuttle service from Orlando to Port Canaveral. I'm sorry, but I didn't keep the info, as we did something else that year, but I found them using Google.
