Fort Lauderdale Park and Cruise

Hi everyone ..

My parents are cruising out of Port Everglades on Oct 30th, and will be driving into Fort Lauderdale 2 days before. I am looking to find a room around the $100-$150 range that will allow them to leave their vehicle there. Would also like it to be as close to the port as possible and would love any help that you can give.

we just cruised about 2 weeks ago and drove and stayed the night before. we stayed in a GREAT place. the hampton inn ft. lauderdale north in ft. lauderdale. it was clean, comfortable, with good service, good breakfast, and effecient, safe transportation to the port and back. we left our car for a week and that was included in the 99 dollar a night rate and it was FINE for the whole week. we had no problems, no glitches. it was wonderful.we booked through parksleepfly.com. go there now!

We stayed at the LA QUINTA Hollywood property last December. Booked again for this December's cruise.

Stayed ONE night, and able to park for the duration of our 10 day cruise.

Google the property.

Check the rates on the internet.

THEN, call the property directly to confirm that you can park for free. They'll probably not be able to match the internet rate on the La Quinta site, but at least you'll confirm they still allow free parking.

They have a free shuttle TO Port Everglades, but you're on your own on the way back.

We parked in front of the property under a streetlight, and had no worries.

Nice property. A couple of dining options within a walk's distance. (Don't know how old your folks are, but it would be an EASY drive, off of the main roads)

So glad I checked this board. I've been looking for a hotel that will allow me to park and cruise. Both hotels look like good options. Thanks.
