Default San Diego hotel

Looking for inexpensive hotel in San Diego for one night. Would like shuttle from airport and to cruise terminal. Would also like to be within walking distance of "things to do". Any help is most appreciated.

We stayed here last year after much research from other forums.
It was clean, walking distance to restaurants, free shuttle and parking for the length of our cruise. We would stay there again without hesitation.
Ask or look for there cruise and stay package.

I stayed at and really enjoyed the Bahia Hotel in San Diego. I don't think it's walking distance from the zoo or sea world. But it's a very short drive. It is walking distance to your own private beach and the pier area has activities. The room I stayed in had a fridge, oven, sink, and microwave. Here is a link.

Small rooms, but clean. Nice rcoffeeshop.
Free shuttles to/from airport and the port.

Default San Diego Hotels

The Hyatt Manchecter is a cool hotel, but the Marriott next to the Hyatt is totally cool, both are a few blocks from Convention Center on Harbor Drive.
The Marriott also has a restaruant there called Roy's, high end and well worth the experiance.
No shuttle, but both are walking distance to the Famus Gaslamp district.
Total happening night life.
There are also petty cabs on the board walk (Behind the hotels) and Seaport Village is 1-block away.
Petco Park is walking distance from both hotels, so if you see a baseball game, durning the season.
There is a play house and comidy club three to four blocks from both hotels.
If you want a great price on a 4-star hotel, try Priceline.com
Bid very low at first, no more then $100 per bid and bump up your bid every day around $10
The catch is, unknown hotel until your bid is accepted.
Just stay in the down town location.

Happy sailing
