Help Needed......
I will be flying into LAX to take a cruise on Royal Caribbean to Mexico July 19th. I wanted to fly in a day or two early. Are there any suggestions on hotels that would be good to stay at near the Port of San Pedro. Are there any hotels that offer free transportation to the peir from their hotels? Any help/advise would be great.

Check out the Park/Fly/Cruise website. There used to be a Sheriton in San Pedro but I think it's changed hands. It was called the Harbor Something and it was relatively inexpensive especially since you could park there for up to 30 days. Enjoy your cruise!

Check out the Double Tree, San Pedro. It has tons of excellent reviews and seems to be the favorite on another large cruise enthusiast site.
Close to a beach,park, marina, boardwalk, they provide shuttle to the pier. If their shuttle is not in use for pier transit they will provide San Pedro transportation too, to local restaurants etc.

Yes, the Doubletree in San Pedro is definitely the place to stay for a cruise going out of LA Harbor. It is on a marina and they do provide a free shuttle to/from the pier. We will be there next month! :-)
