Default HOTELS using priceline bidding>>>>

Just been successful in using priceline hotel bid system for the first time..and bagged a great deal...
4 nights before my cruise in the HYATT Fort Lauderdale for $300 inc all taxes, which is half the going rate...fantastic. 24th Nov to 28th Nov.

started my bid for any 3 star, in the beach and downtown area, three days ago at 50 dollars...REJECTED...24 hours later, tried at 55 dollars...REJECTED...etc etc, till today put in $65 and it was accepted. so everything booked now:-)
One question.... car hire seems quite cheap..is it worth having one for getting around and seeing the area? In anyones opinion?
Now single and retired and looking to take more holidays and cruises for first time, but avoid supplements and not dine alone, and meet new people

Yes - cars come in very handy in Miami. It is worth it if you really want to get around and see a lot.

Congratulations on snagging a GREAT deal!

Last October, by reviewing Biddingfortravel.com, I saw the Rennaissance Hotel, right down the street from the Hyatt, which is my favorite area to precruise, was going for $59.00 per night. I bid just that on Priceline, and I got it...I also used PL to get my midsize car, for $18.00 a day!

I plan on using Priceline for my precruise again, for October. Love to hear when Cruisemates great deals and share them! yay You!

Trip, with her book & tea!
