Default Fll Hyatt Place sticker shock!

I was checking on priceline, in the area, that said, Check winning hotel pricing, clicking on the 3 1/2 stars listing...Included in the group, was Hyatt Place, and some others. Winning bids, in this group were $60.00. I decided just to check to see what Hyatt was getting on their web site, and, all I can say is WOW!

Room Type: 1 Double Accessible
ThursdayFriday259.00 259.00 Total Price Per Room: 518.00 USD

That is a fairly normal price for rooms of that quality . When I travel in Florida I expect to pay not less than $150 USD before Tax for a room per night.

Triplet,

I know you like to stay in FLL but I got the Hilton, downtown Miami for $80 on Priceline.

This hotel used to be: The Westin, The Radisson and maybe some other hotel. It was quite nice the last time we stayed there and it has many rooms with bayviews.

Take care,
Mike

I have stayed in Fll for years and have never even come close to
paying $259.00 per night... From my experience Hyatt Place web site, hovered around 99-120....I won a bid there when it was Amerisuites, for like $42.00, years ago Bahia Mar, Pier 66 Hyatt Place and The Reneaissance are just some of the hotels we have stayed in. Those high prices usually are for properties like W, Trump, the new Sheraton & The Atlantic.

Last year, on Priceline We got the 4 star Renaissance for 59.00 a night.

We'll see which hotel I end up getting after I bid...) As I am typing this, there is a Priceline commercial on tv..lol!

Nevermind: I just wrote a long post about Hyatt Place but finally realized I was confusing it with Hyatt Pier 66. The brain ain't what it used ta be.

I did notice that Hyatt Pier 66 has no rooms available for 10/29. I wonder if there's something going on in FLL on that weekend.

Take care,
Mike
