HELP: Fort Lauderdale hotel - March 25/11?

I know I'm a bit late, but we've just booked Oasis for March 26/11 cruise.
Having trouble finding a reasonably-priced and -located hotel near port for 1 night Friday March 25/11. Any help, tips, suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks all. Ahoy!!!

i suggest that you try a bidding site like priceline to start with, maybe check out hotels.com, hotwire.com, travelocity.com those types of sites. have you tried Comfort Inn, or Holiday Inn Express- both reasonably prices hotels close to airport & pier

thanks. both hotels are either sold out or fairly high-priced now.
i'm a little leery of priceline /hotwire etc. as i've never been to ft. lauderdale before, so not familiar at all with hotels, locations.

there is an article on our site about how to use the bidding sites, you might want to check that out. There are lots of hotels near the airport and cruise pier on the A1 corridor. did you check out the posting at the top of the hotel page? its a list of a lot of hotels in Ft.Lauderdale with shuttle service to the pier

Do Priceline, with 4 star downtown...Anything you get will be wonderful..start at like 59.00 and work your way up...I got the Renaissance for 79.00 one cruise..Check out Hyatt Place or Hoiliday Inn Express,. both on the A1A Hotel strip.

Here it is....A quick cab to the port, from most hotels is quite reasonable..

Rodeway Inn :$71.83 + tax for a clean comfortable room -free shuttle from airport and to cruiseport

Free breakfast ,great waffles

I booked a room in October for December at the AAA rate .I called the hotel direct . I would think the rates would be higher in the winter .

jargey- sometimes you can do better on the price if you call the hotel direct and ask to speak to the manager

We always stay at the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Downtown City Center (www.hamptoninnfortlauderdale.com). It has a cruise package with two one-way transports to Port Everglades and parking (up to 14 nights)

Trying to decide between the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port, or the Hampton Inn and Suites Fort Lauderdale. Only about a 15.00 price difference, but they are cheaper than HIExpress Airport...by about 30.00...which would you choose?
I am leaning toward the HI FL Airport North Cruise Port
