There is a liquor store on AIA at Harbor Shops, right nxt door to Hyatt Place..you can also find beer and wine in Walgereens and CVS down there. Liquor stores don't open till noon on Sundays if that's the day you are cruising.

No, in order to walk to these shops, you would have to stay in the hotel corridor area, by the port...Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt Place are close by....staying at the airport, would need a cab to take you to, even a Walgreens...this list may be a bit of help.
We stayed at the Sleep Inn several weeks ago before sailing on the Carnival Miracle. We enjoyed our stay there - no problems at all. Clean rooms, nice pool and a decent breakfast in the morning. There was a Walgreens next door to the hotel and a shopping plaza across the street with several restaurants and a grocery store. We purchased wine at the grocery store for the cruise and for the evening at the hotel and our friends purchased some beer for that evening. They had a very good selection of wine. We did not see a liquor store in the vicinity. Book the shuttle to the pier when you check in at the hotel because the bookings fill up quickly if there are a lot of ships at the port the next day.
