We've booked a cruise to Alaska leaving out of Seattle WA. I've looked online and found some "OK" hotels but would rather find one that is close to activities in the area (Space Needle etc) without renting a car $$$$$. I don't mind doing some walking but just don't know the best location to book.
I would try Priceline and bid for a four star hotel in the "Seattle Center-Space Needle" area and start around $85. If that doesn't work then add the "Seattle Downtown-Pikes Place" area and up your bid by $10.
If that doesn't work then lower your star level to 3 star and don't raise your bid. I would not recommend going lower than a 2.5 star hotel.
See how that works out.
Take care,
Mike

if you are willing to take the bus system (very easy, affordable, and safe- Seattle is a bus-friendly city, so you will find all sorts of people riding the metro) there is an excellent B&B about 30 minutes bus ride from downtown (ie: space needle). It is called the Greenlake Guest House, and it is where I send my family when they are in town.
Seattle is such famous and king city in state of Washington. People like to visit this place in vacation. There are many hotel or resort available in this place which provide luxury services and facility so tourist get more satisfaction and enjoyment with family.
