With this option, you state your maximum amount, you are willing to pay,and hotels get back to you. The reporter who tried this for this tv segment I watched,had 10 responses to his request. Sounds good!

It sounds like the old "Cruise Compete" for hotels. I wonder how long it will be until the hotels put in the same restrictions as the cruise lines. No one can sell a hotel room for less than the hotel's website.

Sounds like an interesting concept and one I may try. I am a devoted Priceline user but it is harder to get the "deals" than it once was.

We are spoiled. One of our daughters works for the Marriott chain. We get big discounts for most of their hotels, and they keep buying other chains!

Now I have to work on airfare! :wink:
