Fort Lauderdale hotel

Boy do I need help..Just found out today we are expecting a snow storm next Friday here in Chicago. we changed our flight and will now fly into FLL on Wed night. Our hotel wants to charge us triple so we canceled. Now I need to find a room close to the port with a restaraunt in or close by. I really don't want to spend more than 150.00 for a room. I have been to Priceline and Hotels.com but don't have a clue where these hotels are. Any advice would really help.

I use the map feature on Kayak

There are actually some less expensive hotels in the beach area. They claim to be three-star but you can decide.

Thank you for the advise. We looked every where and decided on the Hilton. Its still more than we wanted to pay but most places didn't have a room for all the nights we needed. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza last year and had already booked for 1 night this time. When we went back to extend our stay they wanted 300.00 a night. Husband asked to talk to the manager to see if she would help us and she blew him off. It didn't matter he is a club member with them. ( He stays at CP for bussiness) It seems some places do not care about loyalty anymore. All we have to do now is figure out what to do in Fort Lauderdale for 2 days.

If you are renting a car, this is a great way to spend some time..it's s straight shot up 95, exit at Sample Rd, left after exit,and a just a few miles up the road. Florida Shopping, South Florida Shopping - Florida Festival Flea Market Mall Pompano Beach, FL

and check out the fabulous homes along the New River...a day cruise or a dinner cruise is available.

Walk and dine on Las Olas Blvd..right off A1A,and, across from the beach..

Fort Lauderdale hotel is such famous and luxurious hotel which provide ultimate facility for tourist. According to me here I get all information about this fantastic hotel in beach area.
