At a conference last week someone asked, why is it that the more expensive a hotel is, the less likely that wi-fi is free?
I know this is not 100% true but it probably is an observable trend. My guess is business class hotels change for wi-fi because their clients will expense the cost anyway. Lower tier hotels have added free wi-fi as an attempt to differentiate themselves or to keep up with their competition.
