Default Ft Lauderdale pre cruise hotel

We're flying from CA so need to travel the day before our cruise. Our flight will be arriving evening. I'm looking for a hotel that has reliable free airport shuttle, restaurant/bar, and hopefully free cruise terminal shuttle. I've looked at Trip Advisor and have gotten kind of confused.
Thanks for any help.

I am also from So. Cal, I recommend securing your room near or off 17th street, which is hotel row. You can walk to most shopping areas and restaurants.
You can take taxi from Airport to hotel for around $20. Free shuttles are far and few between, unless you get a hotel far from the port. NOT WORTH IT!
Taxi from 17th street to port is under $20 and the only wait will be clearing security as you enter Port Everglades, have your passports ready to enter the port.
If you find hotel and want additional info, let me know, I have stayed in over 30 hotels in the area.
Groupon has a special going at a small Italian Restaurant near the port
$22 for $40 Worth of Italian Food and Drinks for Dinner at Bravo Italiano Ristorante
Walking distance from most hotels off 17th Street.
