Default Hurricanes - South America

Hi: We are considering a cruise around South America next winter (Jan - March, 2009) - what kind of weather can we expect?? Do we have to
worry about hurricanes/tropical storms. We want to include Cape Horn
and I know the temperatures are pretty chilly. Your thoughts, please.

Hi: Bet you can't wait!! Did you have to get any visas and/or vaccinations for this trip. What type of cabin do you have?? There were some great
specials this winter that included the RT airfare and gratuities but just was
not possible for us. Did Celebrity give you any idea of the temps and what
type of clothing for when you round the Cape??

No, there's no hurricanes in that section of the world. Rough seas going around South America tip maybe. I think there are 2 or 3 oceans that meet?

"No, there's no hurricanes in that section of the world".

Sorry but that is misinformation as Hurricanes can be created if weather circumstances are mixed and created and they have been known to hit Brazil

Rare yes, but not impossible
