We just got back from our European vacation (darn that sounds like that Griswald movie ).

As long as it wasn't one, it's okay to sound like one!
We are fine today. Remodeling the kitchen, so may not be fine in a few days!

We thought about remodeling the kitchen as well. But I put my foot down and decided that there will be no remodeling of any part in the house for two more years - until my son will move out. He got two more years in college and as any kid is rather careless with things.
No sense to remodel if it is destroyed within 2 years. .

But in 2011 we will do a complete overhaul.

Our European vacation was nothing like the Griswalds.
I am way to relaxed and easy going for that. It was awesome: beautiful mountains, beautiful weather..terrific.

Funny part was: we were there outside the season. While we were enjoying the top of a 7200 foot mountain (wait til you see these pics) we met another couple from Florida!!!! A handful of tourists on a snow topped mountain peak and half of them are Floridians.

Oliver & Erin, Look forward to seeing your pictures. It will probably be a few years till we are able to venture to Europe. So will have to experience it through your pictures for now.
Our kids have moved out, so it is just the two of us. Although, they live in town, and are over quite a bit, granddaughters too. Our daughter just turned 27 today. Not sure how that happened, I am not old enough for a child that age! (Our son turns 29 next month!)
Are you still checking "the other" roll call??
Sounds like Sue & Fred (Sun & Frost) are ready to party!

I haven't peeked at the roll call lately. But I will in the near future.

Business is going extremely well - thanks to those who know mw and trust me and of course to those who don't know me (yet) but took a chance with me (::hint::hint:

We'll be heading up to Oh-lando this weekend. A couple we met on our last cruise is spending the weekend up there and we'll catch up with them.

Good Morning Oliver & Erin, and anyone else...

Hope your Mother's Day and week end in Orlando was good.
I had a great Mother's Day, had a pool party/cook-out with my kids and granddaughters. Even though it was HOT, the pool cooled us all off.
Had to cook and eat outside, since my kitchen is still in the middle of being remodeled.
