Who will be our shipmates??? Looking forward to our 4th cruise....this one to celebrate my wifes retirement.

Carnival Glory 9/12/09

Hi: Joan & Vince will be sailing with you. I have a group of 40 who will be travelling with us. This will be our 3rd time on the Glory and we are all psyched for this one. We are from central Florida and plan on driving down to Lauderdale the day before the cruise. We did this last year and it worked out good for us especially as a hurricane was brewing then. It eliminated a lot of the stress.

Congratulations on your wife's retirement. I think that life got a little more busier after retirement with all the volunteering that is available. I have to say that we are addicted to cruise travel. We still haven't quite decided what to do while in the ports. We have gravitated to off-ship tours and, so far, have been very pleased. Now the time seems to be going faster than ever.

Hey....thanks for the reply.....this will be our 4th cruise on Carnival and the longest....and really looking forward to this one. Just hope the Hurricanes spare us. What part of Central Fla??? Between Daytona and Orlando here....

Out of the whole ship only 2 passengers complained - one because he was to meet a relative there and the other said he was supposed to meet a business acquaintance. I personally don't care where the Captain takes me as long as I am sailing (and eating). LOL

FYI - The Glory sails from Port Canaveral, not Lauderdale.

The Glory leaves on Sept 12 from Port Canaveral !!!!
