Awesome! We are not alone on the ship

Is this your first sailing? Sailing with a group?

This will be our 6th. We have 5 groups with us this year.

Hear the ship is fantastic. Have not sailed this class before. Can't wait.

Below zeros here today. 80's in Belize today. Can't wait to get there!!!!

Feel free to chat with any questions you may have. Over the hears have learned many tips. Always willing to share and always willing to learn more.

Yes this is my first time on a cruise. No not really a group it's just myself and my parents.
Ya here lately it has been -40 so I CANNOT wait to escape some beautiful sandy beaches and wonderful ocean!
Thanks! If I have a question I will definetly keep you in mind!
Who knows maybe, just maybe there is somebody else on the ship

I'm not on your cruise but will be sailing the Legend in 2010. I would love to see a review of your cruise when you get back. Have a great time.

Default We're In

I'll be on board with my wife (early 40's) and daughter (17 y/o). We went on this same exact cruise last February and loved it. Only differnece is we went to Roatan instead of Costa Maya.

No biggie, we love Costa Maya as much as Roatan. I wish they would have replaced Belize with Casta Maya and left Roatan on the schedule. Belize is not my favorite port. Only one worse in my opinion is Progresso, Mexico.

We've got a pretty good roll call going on at another cruise website. (crui#ecriti#.c*m).

Hope to see all on board.

Cheers,

Dr. Jack

Jordo/Kawaii -

My daughter loves club O2 and will be on the same sailing of the Legend. The most important thing is to go to the first Club O2 meeting (which will be Sunday evening). That is where you will meet the rest of the teens. My daughter doesn't really do many of the Club O2 activities. It's more of a meeting point and then they just kind of hang out. BTW, my daughter is also 16 y/o but will be 17 in March.

Cheers,

Dr. Jack

OK - We have a 14 yo daughter and a 16 yo son. Guess we had better keep him and his buddies on a short leash this trip

The kids always seem to have such a great time.

That is why cruising is the best family vacation.

Where is everyone coming in from? We are in the very cold upstate New York area. Can't wait for some Vitamin D from the sun

Hi Chef -

We are from Sterling Heights, MI which is about 10 miles north of Detroit. Like you we are sick and tired of the cold and snow.

We are having a meet and greet for all of the folks posting to our roll call on another website (cruisecritic.c*m). It will be at the Unicorn Bar right after the muster drill. The Unicorn Bar is on the Lido Deck near the aft pool. You are more than welcome to join us. Feel free to check out out roll call over there too!

Last year my daughter met some kids at the meet n' greet and they hung out all week. In fact, we sailed on the Legend last February also. The itinnerary was the saem except we went to Roatan instead of Costa Maya. The ship is really nice. A little darker than some of the other Carnival Ships I have been on but still very nice.

Like you guys, we are veteran cruisers. This will be our 8th cruise with Carnival.

I'm just about ready to go. I just gotta shake this head cold that has been hanging on for too long.

What are your plans for the various ports?

Cheers,

Pat

Hey Pat-

Thanks for the invite. We may stop.

We are looking forward to sailing this ship - never sailed this class. Give the kids a bit of a challenge, new deck plans

As for the ports, we booked a cave tubing in Belize with Major Tom. All we could find on them was positive so decided to book. Also nice that we did not have to pay until we get there. Liked that idea.

Think either a stop in Hell and the beach in Grand Cayman or anything else that seems of interest at the time.

Cozumel looks like Mr. Sancho's is a hopping spot. Lots of activities for everyone - and the menu looks good too.

Costa Maya is going to be an emotional one for us. You see your last visit was just 1 month before the hurricane wiped them out. Are interested to see how they rebuilt the fishing village, etc.

We are more than 1/2 way ready. Only a few last minute items to throw in the bags.

We leave Thursday for Tampa. We are taking our son on a college visit in Florida on Friday - figure may as well as we are there anyways.

Safe travels and we'll catch up on the ship.

Enjoy!
