We are finally getting a GOOD rain. So far it's been nice and steady.
I may have to go out and do a little tractor work so Don & Darlene can pull in their trailer this evening if the road has washed out at the 1486 gate.
No fair! They get to come and visit all the time!

BTW--DD and new SIL just got off the Conquest this morning. They had a great time. They did Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica, Snorkeled in Grand Cayman, and had honeymoon drinks at Wet Wendy's (comp) in Cozumel.
They had sushi each night, did all the comedy shows, and had another honeymoon couple at their dining table.
Sugarplum is on the way to Waco to meet them and give back the dog and drop off the wedding presents from the past weekend

Howdy, from Twisted Oak Ranch! Terry and I enjoyed our wine and Tapas out by the pool, last evening. Mass quantities of vino were consumed, and we had a great time. The guys got cold and deserted us. We were nice and warm. Wish everyone else were here, too.
We will be making our way home tomorrow. We have a cruise to get ready for!

We're home! The break is over, now it's time to get busy!
I've had an epiphany! It is a whole lot harder to face the final payments on all the cruises I have booked vs. the decision to book them! Yeow! (Remember, I have a tweener in December, and we're taking DS, DIL, and PGB, and DIL's parents.) Oh well, it won't take long to get beyond the sticker shock..... I have several cruises to look forward to!
Soooo, is everyone getting excited? We will be on the Carnival Triumph in 24 days with Mike and Carole, and then the next week it's all of us! Looking forward to all the details John Heald will be sharing today.

Be prepared for a great cruise on our Carnival Magic. Just got off last friday and we had the best cruise so far. The ship is absolutely beautiful, the crew extremely friendly, except the guy at the fun hub. Watching movies at the sea side theatre awesome (and we needed blankets, european nights get chilly this time of year). We did the 12 nighter.
If going on the sportsdeck, beware of the low blue exercise bar portside aft, I took a nasty fall over it while sailing into Venice, never saw that thing with all the people around me

I hope it's late enough in the day on the 13th that SP has time to get there B4 P&L leave for Galveston. I guess we'll know at noon.
Well my plan was to be there for the arrival, which now it seems is between 5am and 6am !
Earlier today there were rooms available at HH 2 day min. for the 11th / 12th. That would have you there morning of 13th, parking, and you dont have to check out til late.

After reading about the concert on Sunday evening, it doesn't look like an event that all of us can attend. That being said, what kind of plans do we want to have for Sunday evening?
Mike and Carole will be with us, and we can drive to Galveston, easily. We could probably get "close" to where all the action will be taking place. We can find a place on the Strand, or pick a place somewhere else. I'm guessing it will be a zoo around the Strand.
