From Johns blog:

You have been wandering the Carnival Magic for 15 minutes trying to find the RedFrog Pub and realize you are never going to find it without asking for help. Does he say?

1. I am a man. I am not programmed to ask for help. Let’s keep wandering the ship for another 15 minutes because maybe we will find it

2. I am not wrong. I know exactly where I am going. I know this ship like the back of my hand. Oh……..hold on……….why are we in the galley?

3. Darling you look gorgeous in that dress and your arse seems to be getting smaller as we walk. Tell you what, you go buy yourself a ring from the gift shops while I ask that large white arsed cruise director for directions to the RedFrog………..mmmm….….I love you to darling.

Is it just me, or did we seem to inspire John? That last blog was even funnier than normal. Or maybe it's because I can imagine him saying it now.

Anyhoo.....think Scurvy and Kay are having any fun without us? I bet they don't have nearly enough parties to go to!

I had a great time with everyone and I'm looking forward to this one. I figure by the time it rolls around, I might be rested up and recovered from the Glory.

Ray, where are the puppy pictures??

It's ok April, I can't see the pics either.....except the one of Maisie, who is simply adorable!

Eeek, that earthquake in Japan was HUGE. I have family on the coast, I wonder if they'll have to evacuate because of the tsunami warning.

Thank goodness it's Friday! I need the weekend to finally get some rest and recover from our wonderful cruise.

April and Mike, you guys are far enough inland to not have to evacuate, aren't you?? I guess I just realized I'm not sure where you are.

I am fortunate to be on the 1st cruise on the Magic, from Venice to Barcelona, 5/1.....excited, too, because this is my first trip to Europe...I am going to try to cover as much of the ship as I can, so if you have something you want to know,I will try and find out for you.

That's great Trip. I was almost talked into doing the TA, but now that Galveston is getting all those new ships I'm going to get to stay closer to home for a while. In fact I'm going to cancel my Allure too.

We loved Barcelona and our Med cruise last year, I know you will too.

Hi Trip! I don't have anything specific I want to know, just everything! I can't wait for the reviews to start trickling in.

Has everybody recovered from the last one yet? I'm finally getting to the laundry today. Geez, who wore all these clothes??

You'll all have to talk to me on here, I tried FB and hated it. It's just not my thing at all.

I miss everybody and can't wait for this cruise! I read Ray's blog and I think he's got a couple of good spots for us to check out in Cozumel. Anybody heard more about anything special going on before the ship sails?

Yes Buccanos Beach Club and Wet Wendy's would be a great combo for Cozumel. Easy to do too.

Hey TC --- I dont remember saying a proper good bye but then again I don't do good byes but see you later--

Did you end up staying an extra day in Miami ???????

Scurvy rest up----I totally through off one of the waitress at the local resturant we go too--- ordering coffee instead of my wine------I had to tell her I'm ok----and that she wasnt there a few days ago------I make her work harder filling up my coffee cup --rather than pouring my own wine out of the carafe-

Cheers
April

April, congrats on your A-Pad! I bet the prices on the first version will go down now that the new one is out. Anybody checked it out yet?

I'm definitely suffering from post cruise depression. I miss my friends! Why isn't there a party every day? Why is it cold and rainy outside?

Scurvy, we are waiting for a report on your week on the Pearl!

Ray, how's Maisie doing?

Maisie is doing well. Seems to have adjusted to new home. She demands a lot of attention though.

Don C called yesterday, wants me to prep everything b4 they arrive (for his projects). He doesn't know how much is already on my to do list. I still haven't graded the road. We have some other cruise friends arriving tomorrow with two kids so I'm not digging any holes down there. I've had plumber for 3 hours and Pepino working down at the cabin for two days. It will look good--that's all the prep it's getting! The Spanish Oaks are budding, the Live Oaks are starting dropping their leaves. It's the transitional month for trees here. For you non Texans, our state tree, the Texas Live Oak, doesn't drop it's leaves in the fall like all those Yankee trees. It drops them in the spring as the NEW leaf comes out. So they stay green almost year round. There are two really nice trees in front of the cabin, one is the largest on my place.

Of course, I'd rather be cruising.

Did not plan on writing anything but we had a really great week. I think Mike has changed his opinion of NCL and is now a fan. We both even bought future cruise certificates. The entertainment was great and I think we probably went to almost every show because they were all new to us. The Second City comedy group put on several great shows. Food was very good although probably not better than what we had on the Glory. Went to Cagney's Steak House twice. There was a super beach day in Samana, went to "The Baths" on Virgin Gorda, back to St Thomas, and ended at the NCL private island Great Stirrup Cay. It was nice but not as nice as Carnival's Half Moon Cay. Debark was much smoother than Carnival. Was able to slide back into Business Class using FF miles (K's fav seat) so the trip home was quite nice (bloody marys involved). Hmmmmmmmmmm
My liver is better and I am starting to think about a cruise.

I can't improve on Scurvy's review, I am very pleased with NCL, the Pearl was sooooooo much nicer than the Sun. I did purchaser a future and I am thinking Hawaii next year, as long as it does not conflict with any group activity. Take care all, Mike

Thanks for the comments on the Pearl, Scurvy. Sounds like you guys had a good cruise!

Mike, glad you made it home safe and sound. It was great getting to know you guys even better on this one. Tell Carole thanks so much for being my "moral support"!! She'll know what I mean!

I can't wait to see all of you again. November can't come soon enough!

Come join us Bill. We're also booked on the Magic for March 4, 2012 as a group. Looks like I'll be staying close to home for a few years, we're getting five new ships in Galveston in next two years.

I enjoyed seeing your cove photos, I have one on this cruise. BTW-how can we determine which two coves cabins are together as a unit. I'd hate to book with my friends side by side and end up with the steel bulkhead between us.

I'll have to figure out the cove balcony question. Carnival says they won't open the dividers, but some people have had them opened. we'll have a cove on the b2b and if I look left and then right I should be able to figure it out, and then every other divider would have potential.
