Has anyone cruised Spirit before?

I'm posting here to see if there are any repeat customers for this ship...it seems old. I am wondering if you enjoyed the accommodations and public spaces.

I cruised on the Spirit in 2007 and cruising again on her in 2009. So as you can tell I liked her.

The Spirit does not at all look old. It just got out of drydock so it should be all nice and new.

The Spirit is about 88,000 tons but has about 2,100, so you have a lot more space per person.

Also the Spirit Class has the best layout of any Carnival ship.

So there are many reasons why the Spirit is a great ship.

Could you please tell me when the Spirit came out of drydock. I heard it was recently, but then read that it was in 06

We are cruising in Sept 09 and was just wondering.

we cruised on the Spirit to Alaska in 2007 and though that it was a great ship. In fact we are cruising from Vancouver to Hawaii on the Spirit in Sept 2010. As someone else said the rooms are layed out so that it is easy to get from one end to the other. Have a wonderful cruise. Kiteflyer in Wisconsin

It was in drydock this past March.
