Carnival Splendor - May 10, 2009

This will be my second solo cruise. My last cruise I travelled solo, and it was great, especially having a single room. My friend could not make up his mind. When I am ready to go, I don't really like to wait, so my deposit has been paid and the excitement has begun counting down to the saildate.

When I booked, I discovered this is my 10th cruise, so I have graduated to a Platnium VIP. I am looking forward to the perks.

It would be nice to coorespond with people prior to the sail date, and maybe we can put some group excursions together.

My friend and I sailed on Princess from SF to the same ports in Oct 08 . I had a great time, now I can do it again on a new ship.

I have been checking the boards, and there aren't many posts yet.

I will be doing a Singles Cruise through Vacationsto go
Too bad you werent going that week

Yes, it was a single's cruise. I booked with the imprssion it was for "solo" cruisers. A lot of the people were looking for a love connection. It appears this is what they cater too, so I don't think I would do it again.

I am sure you will have a good time. From what I learned, they generally have large groups. The hosts made sure the group plenty activities. Our hosts were Dale and Casey.
