So..my mom went on a cruise last month for the first time.
The first thing she did when she got home was book the next one
She enjoyed it so much that she wants her daughters and grandsons to have the experience and is paying for the cruise for us, we just have to pay airfare and other expenses. My mom, needless to say, is up for sainthood.
Our party will include myself, a 38 year old nurse, my two sons who will be 14 and very close to 17 at the time, my sister who will have just turned 31 and is a banker, my Mom who is an accountant and will shoot me if I post her age, her sister and husband. He is the only husband who has rated high enough with the mom in question to be invited. Drama there I won't get into, but we'll suffice it to say that we will have a lot more fun with arrangements as they are.
But anyway, would love to meet up with others going on this cruise, especially if you happen to have a teenager or two. I'm concerned my oldest will be too "cool" to want to go and mingle at O2.
I know I'm 11 months out, but I'm already so excited I can't stand it, on a diet, and looking at evening gowns because I don't care if there are people wearing shorts on formal night, I am dressing UP.
