When Carnival came up with the multiple booking options it did get confusing for people. Be very careful when you book an Early Saver. BTW-everyone in the group booking CAN make changes up until final pmt date.

So we still need four more people for the free cocktail party. We have the $100 OBC, Champagne, & Strawberries locked up! We're just happy we have everyone on board--it will be FUN.
You must be talking about some other Linda, since I totally booked with the group.

I went to a wine bar after work and somehow ended up at another bar. I had to call my girlfriend to come and pick me up. Does that mean I'm hammered?

Whew, that's good. I was worried for a minute there. I wonder who that woman was that was wearing my clothes and drinking all that wine?

I might have a teeny headache this morning.

For those of you that booked Early Saver, you can cancel and then book another cruise within a year. You lose $50, though. But on the bright side, you could rebook with the group. And on the REALLY bright side, it would mean you'd have to cruise again within the year!

Now there's an idea! If you took just ONE day off and not visit the casino that $50.00 would be re-couped

Linda, I believe that $50 is pp. And the next cruise we're planning is not on Carnival. We're still working on it, tho!

Next question.... is anyone flying out of LAX on the Sunday we return? If so, what time is your flight and would you be interested in sharing a private shuttle?

Well, Don is going to get to each crawfish for the 2nd time in 2 days! We're going to Seabrook and enjoy the day. It is located on a channel between Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Should be lots of boats out today. The restaurant has a band and real cold beer! I'll hoist a cold one to my friends! I'll try to get a pic and post later!

Linda, someone wearing my clothes and drinking wine. I am having a flash back. Remember what WC Fields (I think said) when other people get up in the morning that is as good as they are going to feel all day. I am sure you get the picture. Mike

Oops, you're probably right about the $50 being per person. I was just remembering that it was $50 if I was going to do it for the Conquest.

I am flying out of LAX the Sunday we get back. My flight is at 2:40 and I haven't really done much about finding a shuttle yet. I did look a little at prices. How much more is a private one, or have you checked yet?

You guys have fun today at Seabrook. It sounds like a blast! You talking about cold beer made me think that it might taste good right now....and might make my little headache go away.

Crawfish for the 2nd time in 2 days is not a bad thing. In fact it sounds really good. We will be hanging out at Queen Mary on Sunday and not heading for LAX.

Mike, tooooo funny!

Linda, I've just started my search, but PrimeTime Shuttle can reserve a private sedan for 3 pax for $85 each way (that incl an 18% grat for driver), or if there are more of us, private van for 7 pax for $75 ea way or van for 9 pax for $85 ea way. It would depart port about 9:25, arr at LAX est at 10:45.

O.K. there is a cold beer waiting on me!

Caio!

I won't be flying out on Sunday, but I will still need the shuttle to Union station. Taking the Amtrak back to San Diego to spend time with son. I've checked lots and lots of shuttle services getting prices. Most of the "shared" shuttles make several stops along the way picking up additional passengers. The one that I found with the best price, and a non stop ride was Sav-On-Shuttle Sav-on Shuttle Transportation. They go to the airport AND the train station. So if y'all want to work something out with sharing that ride, I'm all for it.

How's the headache baby? Beer is GOOD for a wine headache Have a cold one!

Darlene, I had hot crawfish fresh out the pot yesterday and left over cold crawfish for breakfast this morning. DD is making potatoe salad with the left over crawfish potatoes Now that is the good stuff! That and mass quantities of cold beer to wash it down

We're all good!! I'm happy with the number we have. Although 4 more would be even better.

I will be ready for a cruise by August for sure!

I'm glad you understand! And it's so much work cleaning up after her! Like today, I had to call a friend and get a ride back downtown to get my car that she left there last night.

I hope you all have a very happy Easter tomorrow!!

We've had some of my FB cruise friends join the SnoozeCruise FB page. Maybe we can talk some of them into joining us. If we don't scare them off....

TowMater would be a good fit. I'll work on her and her Mom to come. She's already a friend of the SnoozeCruise FB page. She's also a member of the "hassle late-comers over the gangway" club during debarkation from party ports. If your lurking TowMater--join us!

I'm assuming there will be party people arriving back late on this itinerary somewhat similar to Cozumel? Just hope it's not us (at least too many times)! I like watching them from over the gangway too. But maybe this cruise isn't as rowdy?
