Fingers and toes and anything else I can cross that somehow you can join us------it won't be the same without you----but if we must--we will do our best to carry on without you----and there will always be a place for you at the yawing table--well Don anyway--and the casino won't be the same without you for sure.

Not yet but no worries I am going !!!!!------guess I should ask Michael if he does want to go--I dont what him to feel left out--but I know he's not thrilled with Mexico---kind of been there done that --how many times

April, tell Michael it is not about Mexico, this is about the people you travel with. I am not that fond of Mexico. Carole and I were on a similar cruise last September out of San Francisco. The good news is warm weather, cold beer, great people, and Mexico if you like to shop. Mike

Yay, I was looking at pics of the Splendor as I was surfing the internet. It looks like a great ship!! I was a little worried about noise in my cabin because it's right next to a laundry room, but then I read the laundry rooms close at 10 pm. Yippee!

Here's a little early research on what to do in the ports. I sailed to these ports in March of last year and really enjoyed them.

This is a blast in Cabo. Mango Deck Cabo San Lucas Mexico It was one of the best beach days I've ever spent.

There's lots to do in Puerto Vallarta. We're there till 10 pm, so maybe some beach before heading to the Malecon and the free tequila tasting, shopping, great sunset views from the restaurants, and music. Puerto Vallarta Information

In Mazatlan we went to a beach that the cruise ship recommended and I can't remember the name of it! It was a resort beach and was a nice day. A lot of people go to Stone Island while they are here. Mazatlan Beaches: 10Best Beach Reviews

I love looking at all the options. We're going to have so much fun!!

Well Michael opted out of this one--but not me---
In fact I heard from my daughters mother in law and if things do workout out--
I will be spending Sunday Sept 5th on the Queen Mary--I know it doesnt count as a cruise but it is a ship---and then on Monday---I will be cruising with them on the Paradise--------at least it will save me the cost of airfare---

My daughters mother in law was on the Splendor just a month or so ago and she just loved the ship and also commented on how good the food was---she has a very sensitive stomach--so that does say something-----great staff too-----gosh it makes me want to go now------

Sort of?? What does sort of mean?? Did you decide on a cabin yet? Woohoo, we get to sail with the two Aprils! Sounds like you're doing a back to back (is it still called that if you change ships??).

I have some friends that I met when I sailed on the Carnival Spirit a couple of years ago, who have been on the Splendor twice and loved it. I need to see if I can dig up the pictures they sent. I know that after I saw the pics and heard about their trips, I have wanted to sail on that ship.

I'm with you, April, I wish we could go NOW!!

Thanks, Mike. I'm not very worried about the cabin location. I found a couple of reviews from people in similar areas and they never heard anything from the laundry. But I'm definitely NOT doing Ray's laundry for him!

Well sort of ---I just sent in the needed info-- so hopefully by tomorrow I will have an offical booking number and cabin too--
I went for a 1A if its still available---so keep your fingers and toes crossed--by an elevator--hahaha but no worries-----if Michael were going I wont be so cheap-----but this way I can spend more money on other things --Plus the other cruise too---since I'm paying for our daughter ---darn I didnt think she would want to go and leave the baby behind----but I guess times have changed
Oh well at least I get another cruise out of it too

Yay, April is official! And the other April as well!!

I've never had more than one cruise booked. Heck, this will be the first time I've ever gone on 2 cruises in a year! Maybe I should book a couple more, just to see what it feels like.
