Snooze, I will be interested to see what you guys think about the old girl. Carole and I have visited the Queen several times while in LA, To tell the truth it seemed like it was getting a little long in the tooth, and that was fifteen years ago. I did enjoy the tours very much that ship is loaded with history. Mike

Hi there Mike!! We're Baaaaaack!! We sure missed you guys being there with us. You were sure there in spirit, though!
We had a blast. Lots of shopping in PV, then the Rhythms of the Night was really cool. I'll let somebody else tell you about Pizza Benji's in Mazatlan.....you would have loved it. And we weren't able to tender into Cabo, so you didn't miss anything there!!
I agree about the Queen Mary. I guess they are renovating, but they sure hadn't gotten to our room yet. It was still pretty neat, though. A little piece of history.
Well, I'm starving, so I'm going to fix some dinner. Just wanted to let everyone know I made it safe and sound. I miss everybody and had a great time with y'all!!

Thanks Linda, it sure has been quiet this week. I spoke with Don and Darlene last night and they told me a little about Mazatlan, and you are right it sounded like a blast. It is great everyone has a holiday to unpack and get back to normal. About the Queen Mary, I guess any ship sitting in salt water and salt wind rain etc., would not do well. I think that is why they are always painting ships. I hope you were able to go on a tour, I remember that being very interesting and again loaded with history. The good news the Glory time, will be here in a short while. Have a great day! Mike

You were with us in every way! Except in person, we had a great time and included you every day ... Just wait till you see some of the pictures.
I made it back to San Diego about 4 pm, the train ride was really cool, all along the Pacific coast. I will go home on Thursday . I know everyone who stayed for round 2 must be exhausted, I know that I am.

Well Hello Splendor /Glory people. I guess I can share some good news. I went to the Doc the other day and all is going very well. I am released with no restrictions, I am happy about that I was expecting some type of limitation/restriction. Hello Snooze and all my Mates, happy to hear you all made it home safe. Snooze are you saying the waiter was worse than the guy we had the second week on Conquest? So far that is the only poor waiter I have experienced. The good news it taught me the difference between a good and bad waiter, and will make it easer to tip in the future. Take care, Mike

I called home to remind my husband to pick me up from the airport--
well my son answered my husband's cell phone ??? and he said he had some bad news--- I was thinking it was about our dog----wrong--
My husband is in the hospital----the nice guy waited for me to get home to have his surgery-----that was yesterday--Saturday morning----
I'm still trying to sort things out---going from back pain to not being able to stand up--- left leg went out--to having surgery---thank goodness it could wait until I got home----------guess I'm saying that so I dont feel too guilty-------but then again---when a doctor tells me he was worried--that makes me even more worried--and confused---
something about a big disc ?--to quote the doctor the size of a chicken nugget------nope I dont think I will ever look at a chicken nugget in the same way again----that was the size piece that was removed--
nerve damage ?
ok so I know I'm going to start rattling on----and I dont want to do that----hahaha
I hope he is able to come home tomorrow--but he just started to run a slight fever----not good------
Gotta get some sleep --so hopefully I can get caught up within the next day or so--------
