Hi Guys, Yes under 50 , getting close cannot wait.
Do you all wan to be included in the Meet & Mingle Party that RCCL throws for us on the 1st sea day?
If so,let me know and I will post the link on here and you must register, it is free to sign up, then you will need your booking number for each cabin that wants to join in.
At the Meet & Mingle Party we are also doing a gift exchange something in the amount of $15 (or Under) per couple or 1 if you are a single.
The item can be something cruise related like a travel mug, luggage tag, ect. somthing useful to cruising.
We have alot of participants doing it and should be lots of fun.
I will hand out raffel tickets to each couple/single as you enter that has a gift.
Bring a gift then you get a gift.
If you do join us and register, RCCL will have an invitaion in your cabin the first day or night to tell you where and what time the party will be on the 1st sea day.
I will also give you my cabin number as we get closer if you have any questions.

Are you all dressing up for the Halloween parade on the ship?
I got my costume all ready and packed. Joe will not wear one. Some of my other family members are dressing up.
It should be fun seeing all the decorations and parade, then they have a prize awards afterwards.
I am just about all packed, just have a few appointments to go to and then I am all set.
Hope you are all packing and getting excited.
A bunch of us will be meeting up on top deck after the muster drill for the sailaway party, it is the sky bar I think, I will check again, so if you want to come by and say Hi, I will be there, if it rains we will then meet on deck 14 aft at the Viking Crown Lounge.
Remember look for alot of us we will have on Mardi Gras Beads and the Explorer T-Shirts.
3 WEEKS TODAY we are onboard the Explorer!!!!!!! YAHHHOOOOOOOOO!
I think some will be taking costumes but not too sure how many of us out of the 10 will be. We were onboard the Explorer last year for Halloween, it was a lot of fun, and soooo many different costumes!
I only have my pedicure left to get done, then I'm good to go, we also have our Thanksgiving this weekend and my birthday is on the 13th, then it will be FULL CRUISING MODE ...laundry, ironing, packing.......YAYYYYY!!
We are sooooo glad you don't have to wear your lifejackets anymore for muster drill!! We will also be up on the top deck for sailaway, there isn't a better place for it We will keep our eyes out for Mardi Gras beads

I had wrote on the boards before about the T-Shirts but there is no more time to order them. And besides it would of cost to much shipping to have them shipped to you anyway.

we now have 77 people that have signed up for the Meet & Mingle Party
it is going to be held either in Dizzy's Lounge or The Chambers night club at 1pm on the first sea day.
If you sign up RCCL will leave a invite in your cabin upon boarding the ship.

When are you coming in? Are you coming a day early and staying at a Hotel?
I will be coming in the day of the cruise only and hour ride for me.
All of us will be meeting up by the Sky Bar deck 12 port side near the railings, but if it rains we will all be meeting up at Dizzy's Bar deck 14 aft.
So stop on by and say Hi, we will all have on Mardi Gras Beads and some the cruise T-Shirts I showed you in the link so keep a look out for us all.
My parents and sister and I are going to go to Phili first and stay a night there then stay a night in new jersey as well. must be nice being so close!

My wife and I will be on this cruise, and we would love to meet up with you all. Here's our information:
Melissa and Andrew Wagner, from northern Virginia, she's 29 and I'm 28, we're in room #6111, and we're set up for the early eating time. Are you guys meeting up at any particular time and place? This is our first cruise, so we'd love to hang out with some who have done it before. My wife is also blind, just so that doesn't catch you off guard. Hope to meet you all this week!

Explorer 2009 Reminder
Thursday Oct. 29th - Day Of Boarding:
Wear Mardi Gras Beads and/or Cruise T-Shirts, Buttons so we can spot each other as we board and walk around the ship.
1st Unofficial Meet & Greet:
Time: Following the Muster Drill
Place: Deck 12 Forward Port side between Sky Bar and railings
Just stop by to say hi, no set time, good picture taking. If it should rain we will then meet up in Dizzy’s Lounge deck 14 aft by the bar. Also a great sail away location.
Friday Oct. 30th - First Sea Day:
Official Meet & Mingle Party: (Given by CC & RCCL)
Place: It has been posted that it will be held in either Dizzy’s Lounge deck 14 aft OR
The Chamber (Disco) deck 3 forward Centrum (Invites will/should be in your state room 1st day or night), if not, call purser’s desk ASAP or call me (Sue) Cabin# 9324
You must sign up for the CC Meet & Mingle to get an invite. It says as of today 85 people signed up for the party.
Time: 1:00 PM (check invite in case of change)
***I will be handing out Cabin Door Signs, Make sure you get one. (bring some kind of sticky adhesive or tape or a 8x11 magnetic paper to hang them up with)
***We will be holding a gift exchange at the CC party. Bring a gift under $15 and receive a gift. One gift per couple. Something cruise related. Please write your real names and screen names on the tag so people know who gave them the gift. I will hand out raffle tickets as you walk in for the gift exchange. It might be best to put the gift in gift bags instead of wrapping them, due to air restrictions.
You can print out the copy of the Roll Call list that Howard sent you the link for and bring it with you if you wish to keep track of who is who. If you did not receive the link please let us know and we will send you one.
Some of us will be dressing up for the Halloween parade and some will just watch. So don’t forget your costumes. It is usually held after late dinner around 10:15/10:45pm
held on the promenade. They then have a best costume contest with prizes. Either held on pool deck or in one of the lounges.
In St Thomas, some of us have planned to go up to the top of the Mountain on the Sky Ride to Paradise Point to have a Bushwacker Drink that they are famous for. Hope to see you there, or should I say hope to see you double, lol
If you do not like to ride on a sky ride they do have taxi’s that will drive you up the mountain. Some of us will be doing the beach in the morning and going up in the afternoon, so I would say from 12 to 3pm most of us will be up there.
I hope each and everyone of us has a great and healthy cruise. I know one thing, we will not go hungry or thirsty, that is for sure, lol
