Default Norwegian Epic 9/25/11 Med.

Hi, any one going the same cruise?

My party have 9 people will sail with Norwegian Epic 9/25/2011. We have booked private tours for the 3 Italy ports (Florence, Rome, and Naples) with one of the best repuation Italy travel company. Since we have total 9 adults, so we have to book 2 minvans. so the result is that we have about 6+ unused seats in each tour. Since the sailing date is close, we don't want to wast these seats in a new MERCEDE minvan (that is the travel company promised us we are going to ride on), we would like to offer these available seats to whoever joining us as low as 50 Euros / per person per tour. (My party of 9 people will cover the rest which will be at least more than 100+ Euros for each tour)

All 3 tours are full day, 9 hours tour.
The price includes: a new Mercedes vehicle and an English speaking driver at your disposal the length of the tour (9 hours), and a private Tour Guide for a two-hour Vatican tour and a private tour guide for a two-hours guided tour in Pompei. Taxes fuel, tolls and parking fees are included as well.
Price doesn't include: entrance fees, food and drink.

The travel company prefer we pay in Euros in cash at the begining or end of the trip. If you pay them by credit card or $, they will charge you 10% service fee.

Here is the tour description:
1. Livorno port (provider: Prestige Rent)
The basic itinerary: Pisa -> Leaning tower (we will not climb the tower, since it will take at lease 1 hour and 12 Euros admission) -> drive though Tuscan countryside -> Florence. We have asked the travel company reserve tickets for the Accademia Museum. If we have time, we will visit this museum to see the famous David. (But we don't have to go in). There are 2 copies of David status on the outdoor palaze.
detail of the tour: Livorno to Florence and Pisa: Florence and Pisa tours

2. Port of Civitavecchia: Rome and Vatican (provider: Easitaly)
The detail itineray: Easitaly Tours - Rome and the Vatican (Option 1)
Here is the brief description:
You'll meet your English speaking driver at the pier where you'll dock. As you walk out the ship you'll be greeted by
one of our Driving-guides holding a sign with your name!
It will take about an hour to get to Rome, where your tour will start with the Colosseum.
Your driver will take you on top of the Celius Hill, very close to the Colosseum, to overlook the most famous monument of Rome, giving you all the information about this site.If you want to enter the Colosseum, please click on the link here below, and get your tickets , there is no time to select, tickets are valid for the whole day.
Don't forget to print the voucher and to bring it with you on the day of your tour.

Colosseum Online tickets - Omniticket.it

In this way you'll by-pass the line, and when you're finish with this magnificent monument your driver will be there to pick you up and keep going with the tour...
Then you'll see the Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, Capitol Hill and the Roman Forums, then Piazza Venezia and the "wedding cake"(Italian King's Memorial). Afterwards will follow the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.
Of course there will be time (if you wish) for a memorable Italian lunch somewhere in the city center, if possible eating outside(like the Italians do!) and tasting some REAL local food, without any risk of disappointments because of low quality or high costs or even both. In alternative you can choose to a have a quick bite eating a slice of pizza or delicious Italian "panini"(sandwich).
After lunch your driver will take you to the Vatican, for a two hour tour with one of our private licensed Tour Guides: you'll see the highlights of the Museums, avoiding any line. If you wish you can book and buy your tickets online at the cost of 19€ per person at the official ticket office of the Vatican (we’ll send website if needed). Our other option would be us buying your tickets for you at 25 Euros (unfortunately an extra charge for agency fees).
The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica will be the last (and the best too...)in the day. You'll be back at the ship around 5 pm.
It includes: a new Mercedes vehicle and an English speaking driver at your disposal the length of the tour (9 hours), and a private Tour Guide for a two-hour Vatican tour. Taxes fuel, tolls and parking fees are included as well.
Price doesn't include: entrance fees, food and drink.
Colosseum entrance costs 12 euros per person.

3. Port of Naples: Pompei and Amalfi Coast (provider: Easitaly)
Itinerary detail: Easitaly Tours - Port of Naples
Brief description: Meet your driver down the ship, he/she'll hold a sign with your name. Your first destination will be Pompei, at least one hour from the port.
Once in Pompei you will be introduced to one of our local licensed Tour Guides and you will enjoy a two hour private tour through the ruins of the city buried (left almost untouched) 2,000 years ago by the nearby volcano. Visiting Pompei you'll have a better idea of the real old Roman lifestyle even more so than visiting Rome itself. He/she will be at your total disposal for the length of your tour, making your way through easier than others, and the old city will make you relive the old Roman life.
Just one recommendation: put your snickers on, since there's to hike over there...
After the tour, which will last about 2 hours, your driver will suggest where to have your lunch: a slice of pizza, sandwich, or a nice restaurant waterfront. You'll visit the lovely towns along the Amalfi Coast such as Sorrento and Positano, deciding when or where to spend more time according to your needs and wishes.

This excursion will be completely tailored for your needs, and you'll have time also to relax and taste some local specialties (your "man" will always have the best options to suggest talking in terms of food...) There will be plenty of time for shopping or/and for a nice walk through Positano's narrow streets, or just stopping somewhere to take a breathtaking look at one of the best natural sceneries that Italy offers!
The price includes a new Mercedes vehicle with all the comforts at your disposal the length of the tour (9 hours) with an English speaking driver, and a two-hour private tour with a local licensed Tour Guide in Pompei.
Taxes, fuel, tolls and parking fees are included as well.
Price doesn't include entrance fees to the Ancient Pompei (11 euros per person, no need to pre-book this one), food and drinks.

If you are interesed, please contact with me as soon as possible. (triciazhang@aol.com)
Thanks.

Tricia
