We're saling on NCL Gem from Barcelona on 16th August.
We are a Spnish family (a 15 years-old girl, a 11 years-old boy and the parents).
Is there anybody comming?

We ARE! My husband, 10 year old daughter and myself are going. We are looking to share an excursion in Rome with some other people. We are alos on Cruise Critic, but have not had too many posts there either.

We've already met a lot of Spanish and Portuguese people who's sailing with us, we are ore that 100 for the moment, and we¡r organizating trips for the 3 Italian days.

I'm from Barcelona, so I think that I can help you in this.

In only one day you won't be able to see all the city, because it's very big, and there are interesting and beautiful things in ll around the city.

But what you can't miss is:
- Monuments foms GaudÃ*, such:
- Sagrada FamÃ*lia (the most important monument)
- Casa Batlló
- Pedrera or Casa MilÃ* (it's the same with 2 different names)
- Parc Güell (it's a very big park, if you are only one day in Barcelona you won't have time enough to see it well)
- Colon (it's nxt to the port)
- Squares:
- Plaça Catalunya (very known for having a lot of pigneons)
- Plaça Espanya (if you can, you gotta on on Saturday at 9:00 pm (I think) because the fountain has music, colors and it goes up and down, and it's really beautiful)
- Ramblas (this street starts at Colon monument)
- Poble espanyol (going up from Plaça Espanya)

At this momet I don't remember anything else that you can't miss if you go only a day; and it's more, if you don't go runnig, you won't have time enough to see it all.
