No it's never too early. We are booked on the Oct 7, 2011 followed by the Oct 19, 2011. There is a big thread on the other cruise site but as usual you can't get on. I think they said over 200 people have posted they are going.
This will be our first time in this area. Can't wait. This is #1 on my bucket list. We have done #1-4 on DH bucket list so now it is my time. If you have been to this area before.....all advise would be welcome.
There is a very big and active roll call on Cruise Critic for this cruise. I joined in for a while but I guess I ticked some folks off. There was more personal chit chat going on than real info. One of the posters has spent a lot of time on developing a website and spreadsheet for the cruise and I appreciate his/her work.
They have set up a lot of tours with independant tour people in Italy. We did this cruise last year and participated in a lot of the tours.
We could do the same here - I have some links to tour operators and could help set up some tours if anyone is interested.
