Booked and ready!

Firmed up our last two shore excursions yesterday!

Post cruise to Angkor Wat and Bangkok arranged!

We are looking forward to it! Who else is going?

Hey Mike:

As you know, we'll be there for that leg and also the previous AUK-SYD run.

I have some of my SYD-SING itinerary set with ship's tours in Semerang and Tanjung and a private tour in Bali. I am also renting cars in Darwin and Cairns. Looking to get one round of (reasonably priced) golf in during that leg as well if possible. Not sure about Brisbane as I have been told they are setting up for the Grand Prix at that time which knocked out the course I was hoping to play.

The Voledam is a nice ship. Not too big or small and certainly they had good staff when we were on it in 2009.

We are travelling with our friends Connie and Pam on this one, so the four of us make a convenient size group.

For what it is worth, I am a compulsive over planner. Here is what we have lined up:

AR Sydney March 12, Coffee cruise of the Harbor. Next day limo pickup at hotel, 4 hour tour including Opera House, arriving at the Volendam about 1:30.

Brisbane, Mike to Koala Sanctuary, Renée to Rain Forest, ship's tours.

Hamilton Island, Mike and Pam to Resort, Renée and Connie to beach, ship's tours.

Cairns, Aborigine Experience and ducks for both of us, ship's tour.

Darwin Jumping Crocs for all four of us, ship's tour.

Komodo, Renée on ship's tour to dragons. Too much for me.

Padang Bai (Bali) private tour to the Bat Cave, Reptile Park, Badang Dance.

Semarang (Java) private tour to Borobudur and local village

Jakarta Private tour to Safari Park and sights

Singapore, Renée Icons, Mike Night Zoo tour.

Then we fly to Siem Reap Cambodia for three nights for a private tour of Angkor Wat, Tonle Sap Lake, and riding elephants; and then to Bangkok for three nights.

It is going to be a big blowout for us! We are really looking forward to it.
