Looking for help.. Booked Carnival cruise for May 30, 2012 out of New York and two weeks ago my daughter broke her foot. She ended up with a cast and will be in a wheel chair on the cruise as she is unable to put any pressure on it at all. We called Carnival to let them know about our situation and filled out a Special Needs form. A couple of days later we received an email saying that our room is a standard room and not for handicap people (something we already knew). Today, we called to get a different room that would accommodate my daughter but they said sorry no handicap rooms are available. However, their site shows that a suite is available As a matter, fact when I called the first time, the rep said if they do not have any handicap rooms available, we would be upgraded to suite with nominal charges. Any suggestions as to what we can do?
