Linda,
My niece's husband, Ron (aka Lucky) was the one who took out the bad guy. To hit a moving target is difficult in the extreme (unlike on TV).
To a professional, Lucky's shooting was phenomenal.
Larry was one of the kindest, most thoughtful human beings I've ever met and he loved me as much as I loved him. As I posted, I talked with him that very morning as he was so concerned about my situation that he called me. Not six hours later he was dead.
The wake (down here they call it receiving of friends) will be Thursday and DeAnna has tried to make me promise not to drive, to have someone bring me. Of course I shall drive myself.
I often wonder just how much Paul and the staff know how important the chit=chat thread is to folks such as I.
I am looking forward to meeting you in March and I'll tell you now, I'll probably need a great big hug (in case you haven't noticed, I'm big on hugs).
God Bless you Linda for you are indeed, a treasure!
Love,
TDH
