Default Carnival Pride Makes Detour

I heard that the Pride did not stop at PV On it's Oct 5th cruise. Did it miss any other ports? Would be interested about any feedback about the Oct 5th trip.

Hola from Puerto Vallarta! We had a hurricane that turned out to NOT be a hurricane but heavy rains and a couple of the cruise ships did not stop as scheduled. I can imagine the seas were pretty rough those days!

The Oct. 5th Pride cruise went to Ensenada, Catalina Island and San Fran. People were told this as they checked in and had the option to go home and get a full refund or sail on the ship and get a $300 shipboard credit and 50% off their next cruise. About half the people decided not to sail, probably those who drove to the port.

We sailed the week before on the Pride.

We're going on the Pride in November. Did you enjoy your cruise aboard the Pride? Any info you can give me would be great. Our cruise is coming up in November and we're getting really excited.

I hope you don't mind me writing direct. We were on the Pride Oct 12th. It's a great ship. The food was good, casino was fun and the ports were nice. If you have any specific ??'s I sure can try and answer any for you. 1 thing is a must. If you arrive early (before 10:30am) walk over to the Queen Mary and they have an early check in room for Carnival. Worked out great.
Have a great cruise.
