To every body that has questions or comments about Acapulco, I would be more than happy to answer. I am the Port Opers Manager and can provide useful assistance to make your stay a memorable one or insure that your comments are heard and taken care of.
Unfortunatley there are no wheel chair accesible vehicle's in Acapulco, although you can receive assistance from your tour operator or Authorized Ground Transportation services from the cruise terminal. They can help you transfer to the front area dof the van and place your wheel chair in the back of the van.
2 middle aged couples will be visiting your city in late February on the Mercury. We will be in port from early morning until 11 pm. Can you suggest some vendors for snorkling and horseback riding? We are not much into shopping, but would love to see the beautiful Mexican beaches. Also, where would you suggest for dinner in Acapulco?
Thanks for your time and information.
Alex, we did the city tour, which took you to the cross on the hill, chapel, downtown, to the prison fort, and the Flamingo Hotel. Didn't see the cliff divers, and those who did say we should not have missed it.
Sorry can't recall the cost, but I would say about $35 a person for a small 8-person van.
