Default Car service from L.A.X

Was wondering what car service anyone would recommend out of L.A.X...We'll be going out of Long Beach on the Pride. We've been on the Pride before, but never a Mexican cruise.
Have always cruised out of Port Canaveral. So car service out of L.A I'm unfamiliar with. We're using our own transportation as it always seems to be easier this way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure I'll have more questions as far as the ports since you all have always been so helpful.

Thanks!
Laura

Bigsky, one thing I can think is to check the online yellow pages for a service. Second, if you stay in a Long Beach hotel, most will provide shuttle service to the pier.

Wish I could help more.

Harry, we're not going to stay at a hotel. Our flight gets in at 9:30 am on sailing day. Normally, yes, we always stay in a hotel.

Just thought others have used car services there and might be familiar. There's tons of ones that people use at Orlando airport. Maybe not as used here?

thanks for your reply! Glad to hear your mom is home as well!

We used SuperShuttle to get from LAX to our hotel in Long Beach the night before our Pride cruise. I'm sure they would go from LAX to the Long Beach port. I think their web site is suppershuttle.com

I am on the Diamond Princess this Saturday and made a reservation with Primetime Shuttle from LAX. Diamond is from the San Pedro port but I'm sure they service the Pride location also.

The reason we chose Primetime over Supershuttle is because Primetime would make a reservation roundtrip and Supershuttle won't make a reservation from LAX to the port. They just drive around the airport looking for people going in the same direction so was concerned about how long it would take to get there. Primetime was $60 roundtrip for 2 if booked on the internet.

I won't be back until Oct 2 so can give you more info about the service then.

Hi everyone,
Just to clarify, SuperShuttle will make round trip reservations from LAX IF you book an "exclusive" van (meaning your group will fill it up). I just called about this and they reported the fare one way is $63.00 for 7 passenger van and $83.00 for 9 passenger van. I like this idea as well because you won't be stuck driving around the airport waiting for more passengers to fill the van. Hope this info will help!

I told Supershuttle I wanted exclusive service and they told me 5 would be considered exclusive. The whole idea of the service is you don't have to wait for others. Super quoted me 60.00 per leg..so 120.00 round trip. I'll call both. Just want to make sure I have all this squared away.

Thanks everyone!!
