Vacations To Go

Does anyone have experience using this company? If so are there any cautions or hidden charges, concerns, comments you could share with me?

I used them for Celebrity Summit Alaska cruise in Sept. I had no problems or surprises. The actual price was $20 higher than advertised due to that category not being available. They ask about insurance and that was it. Got email confirmations, booking number the next day and ticket from Celebrity about two weeks later.

I have used VTG to book four cruises, including two for large groups. Their prices are competitive and the service is great.

Ryndam - 12/2004
Xpedition - 06/2005
Oosterdam - 10/2005

I used them & just got back off my cruise on 10-25-04. My cruise was orginially booked for last month & got canceled due to Ivan. My agent Ballard was great the whole time & let me know everything that was going on & helped me get rescheduled quick. I will use them again.

BFic and I are traveling together and I can't thank you enough for positive responses about Vacations to Go.
Their prices are fabulous and we needed to know that they are a reputable company.
It is a perk to find out that they have good customer service too!

We used them for our 2-week Alaska cruise May 2004, and it was all totally smooth. Big "plus" surprise was finding, when we called to book, that our fare was $100 LESS each than shown on their web site!! We had a lovely balcony stateroom on Coral Princess, Vancouver-Whittier & back, for $699 for 7 days for each of us ($2800 total for 2 weeks). Service was good, communication also, documents arrived on time -- nothing but praise.

We've also used BestPriceCruiises with happy results.

We also used Vacations To Go on our last cruise. We have always used a TA so I was a little nervous but they were wonderful. Our travel counselor was Sandy Bunn and she told me everything I needed to know and we actually received our docs a week earlier than we had expected. I would certainly use them again.

Re: Vacations To Go

I have booked through this company twice now and will likely do so again.
Great rates...no hidden fees...smooth transactions.

The president of the company even wrote me back one when I sent a blanket question about repositioning cruises.

I recently booked with a woman named Madeline Settle and received prompt service initially, but not great on the follow-up for subsequent questions.

The first time, I received excellent service (the first time) from this gentleman. My sister has also used him for two other cruises since.

Hope this is helpful -

Re: Vacations To Go

My friend booked our cruise through this company two summers ago. She handled the communication and transaction, so I can only comment indirectly.
She was very pleased with their courteous and friendly service. She booked over the phone and they gave her the total including port fees/taxes. There was nothing hidden at purchasing time, but the prices on the site are without taxes/fees. Insurance was quite cheap through them, only $80 something for both of us.
After the purchase, they also responded to email questions quickly.

It was a positive experience.

Good Luck!

Re: Vacations To Go

We have booked all of our cruises through V.T.G. The service has been very good. Amile' Richards has been our travel advisor for all our cruises, any time we had a question or problem she was right on the ball. They respond quickly to phone calls, and e-mail. Their prices are about the same as other web sites, but the service they provide is well beyond the call of duty. When we first decided to book through a web site we were a bit nervous, but Amile' and her staff have made it an enjoyable experince

Have a great time!
